Life Should Be Documented

Pictures are a great way of documenting life, but words are great too. Brad and I don't lead the most exciting life, but sometimes we have things to share.

We've been a busy husband and wife recently. We moved to Austin, started new jobs, celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary, took trips to San Antonio, east Texas, and Dallas. We're always trying to go for hikes and walks with Ollie to tame his endless energy. He's really enjoying Austin. Because we're living with my parents, Ollie has a back yard to play in all day. He even made friends with the pit bull and chihauhau next door! I can tell he's must happier here than in a tiny apartment.

Sad to say, we'll have to move him back into an apartment soon. We have to be out of my parent's place no later than May and the only place we've found in our budget is an apartment. But it's the cutest apartment! It's not your typical cookie cutter apartment that looks the same as every other. When you walk in the front door, you go up a set of stairs to the main level where you'll find the living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and dining room. Then you can go up another set up stairs to a cute little loft. It's not huge by any means, but it's plenty of room for a computer desk and maybe even a day bed for guests. And all the stairs will be great for Ollie on those cold dreary days we can't take him outside to play. If all goes as planned, we should get to move in March.

Like I said earlier, Brad and I don't have very much going on in our life. Most of what we do revolves around Ollie. He's our little kid until we have a real one. Maybe once we have a kiddo of our own, things will be more eventful. I'll keep you updated on that!
